Irish Wildflower, or Bláth Fiáin na hÉireann Coinneal Céir Bheach in Irish, was created in 2020, under the Donegal Bees brand, with the aim to provide a relaxing, fulfilling, and eco-conscious experience for our customers. As the only producers of beeswax foundation in Ireland, we take pride in saying our candles are truly Irish.

The bees work hard to source nectar from our beautiful flora and fauna from around the countryside, which they use to create their wax. The Irish Wildflower beeswax candle range includes 7 candle sizes, hand-rolled using our 100% natural beeswax foundation sheets, with each named after a native Irish wildflower. Beeswax candles are known to purify the air when lit, aiding in stress relief and eliminating odours with its natural honey-like scent. They also burn longer, brighter and cleaner than regular candles, and are naturally biodegradable.
Why buy Irish Wildflower Beeswax Candles?
We source our beeswax from local and national beekeepers with our Beeswax Exchange Service, which is then melted and filtered multiple times to ensure we are using the cleanest and purest wax.
We then produce our own premium beeswax foundation sheets using our wax band and foundation embossing machine, the only one of its kind in Ireland. The sheets are carefully hand-rolled with a cotton wick to make an Irish Wildflower beeswax candle.
